Live Wax Worms

Wax worms (Galleria mellonella) are thin-skinned and soft-bodied, making them an excellent treat for your pet!

• Many breeders use wax worms to 'fatten up' their reptile.
• They also make a great all around fishing bait. Wax worms are used quite frequently for trout and pan fishing and also work very well for ice fishing.

Wax worms cannot tolerate high temperatures and are best maintained between 55 and 65 degrees.

• A wine cooler is a great storage solution, but if you don't have access to one, you can keep them in the door of your refrigerator.
• Make sure to remove any condensation from the lid of the container before placing them in the fridge.

Wax worms have entered a stage where they no longer need any food.
