The worm chow provides both a bedding and food source.  Allows the worms to remain healthy and active over a longer period of time.

Worms should be kept in a well-ventilated smooth plastic container (e.g. cat litter box or wash basin), with 1-2 inches of worm chow covering the bottom.

Monitor the bedding, and change it out once it becomes a sandy consistency.
